Im Mittelpunkt zwischen dem Display und der Wand steht das Licht als Phänomen. Die malerisch anmutenden Gesten wie Wischen und Tippen, die bei der Nutzung auf dem Smartphone-Display entstehen, die diffuse und schnell wechselnde Farben und Lichtreflexionen des Displays erzeugen um das Objekt herum eine Art Schein. Das Video, das sich in einem konstanten Loop bewegt, stellt ein Fragment meines alltäglichen Bilderkonsums auf Instagram dar. Instagram als  Ausdrucks- und Präsentationsform von Bilder und Kunst im digitalen Raum wird in der Arbeit auf ihr physisches Grundelement reduziert, nämlich das Licht.

At the center, between the display and the wall, light appears as a phenomenon. The painterly gestures—such as swiping and tapping—that arise when interacting with a smartphone display, along with the diffuse and rapidly changing colors and light reflections of the screen, create a kind of aura around the object. The video, which plays in a continuous loop, represents a fragment of my everyday consumption of images on Instagram. Instagram, as a form of expression and presentation of images and art in the digital space, is reduced in this work to its most fundamental physical element: light.
