Die Werke zeichnen den Strukturwandel ökonomischen und wirtschaftlichen Prozesse und deren Fortsetzung zur Flüchtigkeit des digitalisierten Lebens nach und verschränken in sich Bild, Skulptur und Architektur. Der Takt einer einzigen Komposition durchdringt sie alle, ist sozusagen ihre Kondition und ihre Konsequenz: Ausgangspunkt ist die Kurve des DAX (Deutscher Aktienindex), die zu Öffnungszeiten der Börse, also montags bis freitags von 9 bis 17:30 Uhr, alle zwei Sekunden aktualisiert wird, in Echtzeit die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung Deutschlands abbildet und somit auch Rückschlüsse auf globale Finanzmärkte und Wirtschaftssysteme erlaubt. In Zusammenarbeit mit den Musikern Leon Eckard und Francesco Marzano übersetzt die Künstlerin die DAXKurve in eine Melodie, die von einem Schallwandler in eine Serie von Sinustönen sinnlich erlebbar gemacht wird. Die Sinustöne versetzen ein Klangholz in Schwingung, auf dem Kohle-, Asche-, Erdpartikel pulsieren, und zur Ruhe kommen, und stets neue, regelmäßige Muster erschaffen. Abfotografiert, Gespiegelt und vervielfacht werden sie zu verschlungenen Ornamenten, die genauso offen und potenziell endlos wie die Melodie sind: Die Bildzelle, die jedes Ornament hervorbringt, wird zum Bauteil einer grenzenlosen Architektur.

The works trace the structural transformation of economic and financial processes and their continuation into the transience of digitized life, intertwining image, sculpture, and architecture within themselves. The rhythm of a single composition permeates them all, so to speak, being their condition and consequence: The starting point is the curve of the DAX (German Stock Index), which is updated every two seconds during stock exchange trading hours, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., depicting Germany's economic development in real time and thus also allowing conclusions to be drawn about global financial markets and economic systems. In collaboration with musicians Leon Eckard and Francesco Marzano, the artist translates the DAX curve into a melody, which is made sensually perceptible by a sound transducer into a series of sine tones. The sine tones set a resonating wood in motion, pulsating with coal, ash, and earth particles, and coming to rest, continually creating new, regular patterns. Photographed, mirrored, and multiplied, they become intertwined ornaments, as open and potentially endless as the melody itself: The image cell that produces each ornament becomes a component of a boundless architecture.
