ICH GEHE, ABER WOHIN?
 Paulusmuseum, Münster,
26 August 2026 – 30 May 2027

An artificial sun follows the actual position of the sun over Münster. Throughout the day, its colour temperature changes – from the warm hues of sunrise and sunset to the more neutral light of midday. The changing light falls onto a deep black surface, making the course of the sun visible
within the museum. What occurs outside as an interplay of sun, atmosphere and time is translated into a technological system: astronomical data become electronic signals and ultimately light, continuously transforming the space. An artificial landscape of light, darkness and synthetic silicon emerges. Its crystalline surfaces absorb and reflect the light of the artificial sun. The stones begin to glow themselves, becoming a counter-image of the sun.

RGBW-LEDs, Steuerungseinheiten, Netzteile, polykristalline synthetische Silizium Steine, RAL 9005 Tiefschwarz, MDF
