In zahlreichen "Ichs" manifestieren sich die Wände von Turmhäusern, die in vertikaler Ausrichtung emporragen, in den Siebdruckarbeiten. Sie sind in diesem begrenzten Raum äußerst effizient und rational wie ein Textsatz angeordnet, ausgerichtet und bilden ein Raster.

 

Ein kaltes LED-Licht strahlt von innen durch die Öffnungen des Objekts. Das Haus ist bewohnt. Der Titel "Capital I" betont die Mehrdeutigkeit des Wortes. Einerseits deutet das Pronomen "I /capital I" (aus dem Englischen) auf Selbstzentriertheit und Individualität hin. Andererseits bezieht sich "Capital I" auf eine Hauptstadt, eine Metropole des Ichs.

Countless "I's" form the walls of tower buildings that reach upwards. Efficient and rational, they are arranged in this confined space, creating a restless image. A light emits cool LED light from inside through the openings of the object. The house is inhabited. The title "Capital I" emphasizes the ambiguity of the word. On one hand, the pronoun "I/capital I" (from English) implies self-centeredness. On the other hand, "Capital" refers to a capital city, a metropolis of the individual.
